Thanks for reading, Rob. This was a relaly fun post to write since I’ve been interested in pocket knives for so long. I’ve never owned a Boker knife. I don’t think my dad has either. But I am familiar with them since it is a well-known brand.
Ihave a Russell knive with a R onthe handle with an arrow the handle is bone? it is 7.75 inches long the blade is 3.75 hoe can I fine out how old it is. Jerry
I have an old barlow knife two blades with a peacock kind of wood and one barlow printed right side up and one upside down says stainless Pakistan on it. Was just wondering about a time period three rivers on each side holding the wood in. Thank you
If it was made in Pakistan, we don’t handle those. All our barlow knives are made in USA and China. I wish I could give you a better answer about your knife.
My Barlow has ( this is where I need help) you think two blades but the shorter “blade” if it even is one has a curved edge running the length of it and I’m puzzled …you can’t sharpen it so please help…what is it…the longer blade is squared at the end
To Barlow Admn I have a Barlow knife, at the base of the big blade it has stamped SABRE -603 on one side and stainless-Hong Kong on the other., the black handle on each side is plain, no rivets. of course BARLOW stamped on either side of the polished area,, the # 603, does that mean it the 603 made of this style? and its age, it has been in my drawer for many years and not used.
I found an old (I’m assuming so anyways) Barlow two blade pocket knife in my recently deceased uncle’s truck. It has off white handles on it and has Barlow on both sides of the bolster, but no other markings on the knife. I’m wondering how to tell if it is old or not.
Wow. I remember fi ding old Barlow pocket knives that belonged to my Dad when I was a kid. Wish I wouldn’t have messed with them now. I have no idea where they are anymore.
I just want to know how old my knife is. I know it at least from 70s. It was my grandmas. It says barlow then other side D E and on main blade says imperial prov usa
At the risk of sounding negative, your blog and website profess to be “Your Best Source For Barlow Knives” however, you are largely out of stock on every knife listed except for 4-5 knives in total and there are literally tons of other brands and endless models within those brands, none of which are listed here. Specifically, Great Eastern Cutlery, Tidooute, Northwoods, CASE for that matter. You have one model listed and state that it’s out of production. The list of makers/brands continues…Sheffield, Schrade, et al. Where ARE the knives you’ve dedicated your website to because unfortunately, they are not here.
Hi Thomas. I agree. Many of the Barlow knives that were originally on this website have been discontinued. I have not replaced them with other knives because there is really not much profit to be made here, selling one knife at a time. Currently, I keep this page as a backlink to my other page. Please take a look at my other knife page, logo-knives.com. You will find a multitude of knives. I keep this page up to date, because it is a very successful page. Also this page: https://www.logo-knives.com/barlow-knife.html
Thanks for your comments.
Hi Thomas. Just discovered that our website has some broken internal links, so you can’t see any knives that we have. We are in the process of fixing this WordPress website. Thanks for the report.

Sorry, I am unable to assess the value of an old knife. You might ask someone at a knife show. Thanks.
