‘Boker Barlow Prime Curly Birch Knife 111942

A blast from the past. The original barlow style knife was made in England in the 17th century. The style of knife that your great grandfather used. This one has a gorgeous handle, and is ideal for the serious collector.

Blade length: 2.8″. Overall length 6.1″.

Material: Cobalt-alloyed N690 steel blade. The fine-grained N690, ranks above 440C. Curly birch wood handle. Stainless steel bolsters.

Locking mechanism: Slipjoint. The old fashioned spring style that doesn’t really lock the blade in the open position. It holds the blade in the open position, but with a definite pressure on the spine, you overcome the resistance and close the knife. Opening method: Nail nick manual
